Accept card payments
Let customers pay with Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay or Google Pay, and get paid in crypto.
With cards on, customers can pay with Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay or Google Pay, and you still get paid in crypto. Card payments cost 3% each, plus the usual flat fee.
Turn cards on or off
- Go to Settings → Payments.
- Under Card, turn the switch on.
Every link and API payment offers cards from then on, beside the coins you accept.
Not available yet?
If the card says Card payments aren't available for your business yet and its switch is grayed out, checkout offers crypto only for now. Email support@402pay.co to ask about cards for your business.
What the customer does
At checkout they choose Card and enter their email. A secure page opens where they enter their card or use Apple Pay or Google Pay, see the final total and pass any identity check their bank asks for. Card details are taken on that page, so they never reach 402pay, your dashboard or the receipt.
Good to know
- A card payment shows as Card in your dashboard, with no card number or brand.
- Customers have a window to finish on the card page, which starts again after a decline.
- Developers can read more in the card payments guide.
