Sign in with a passkey or password
Use a passkey for one-tap sign-in, or your email and password. Add, rename and remove passkeys in Settings.
You can sign in to 402pay with a passkey or with your email and password. Passkeys are faster and safer, since there's nothing to type, reuse or phish.
Go to sign in. If you've saved a passkey, it's offered as soon as you select the email field, or select Continue with passkey. Otherwise, enter your email and password, complete the check and select Continue.
If you've turned on two-step verification, you'll be asked for a code from your authenticator app next.
Add a passkey
- Go to Settings → General and find Passkeys.
- Select Add a passkey and confirm it's you.
- Follow your device's prompt. Your passkey is saved to your device or password manager.
You can add up to 10 passkeys, one for each device you use. Rename a passkey so you can tell them apart, and remove any you no longer use. We email you whenever a passkey is added or removed.
Passkeys on a shared or new device
On a device without your passkey, most browsers can sign in with a passkey on your phone by scanning a QR code. You can also sign in with your password, if your account has one. An account made with a passkey can add a password from Settings → General with Set a password, which emails you a link.
