Checkout settings
Choose whether checkout asks for an email, where customers go after paying, how long a rate is locked and your underpayment tolerance.
Settings → Checkout controls how checkout behaves for every link and payment.
- 1Ask for email. On by default. Turn it off to let crypto customers pay without one; card payments always ask.
- 2Redirect to your site. Off by default. Turn it on to add a URL customers go to after paying, instead of their receipt.
- 3Rate lock. How long a crypto quote holds its exchange rate, 15 minutes to start. A longer lock means fewer late payments.
- 4Underpayment tolerance. How far short a transfer can be and still count as paid, 0.5% to start.
Ask for email
On by default. Checkout asks crypto customers for their email so you know who paid, and they appear in Customers. Card payments always ask.
Redirect to your site
Off by default, so customers see their receipt after paying. Turn it on and enter an https URL to send them back to your site instead. A link's own success URL, or an API payment's, takes priority.
Rate lock
How long a crypto quote holds its exchange rate: 5, 10, 15, 30 or 60 minutes, 15 by default. A transfer that arrives after it runs out needs your review.
Customers paying from an exchange can take a while. If you see many late payments, a longer lock helps.
Underpayment tolerance
How far short a transfer can be and still count as paid in full: none, 0.5%, 1%, 2% or 5%, with 0.5% by default. It absorbs the small fees some exchanges take out of a withdrawal. See underpayments.
Coins, networks and cards
What checkout accepts lives in Settings → Payments. See choose which coins and networks checkout offers and accept card payments.
