Network fees
Who pays a network's fee on a payment and on a send, and why a token send needs the network's own coin.
Every network charges a small fee to move money, paid in its own coin. It's separate from 402pay's fees, and never part of a payment's amount.
On a payment
Your customer's wallet pays the network fee on top of what they send, so you receive the full amount. Checkout shows an estimate of it beside the total.
On a send from your wallet
Your wallet pays it. The send's review shows the most it can cost, and you choose a speed: slower is cheaper. The fee is never more than what you approved.
Keep a little of each network's coin
To send a token like USDC or USDT, your wallet also needs some of the network's own coin to pay the fee: SOL on Solana, POL on Polygon, ETH on Ethereum.
